Craftsman Screwdrivers

Article written by Moab Man

Date Added: 01/07/2007

Many of us buy Craftsman tools because you can?t beat the warranty.

Even though I have broken my fair share, each time they are replaced with no questions asked.
Craftsman makes good quality tools, and their screwdrivers are no exception. But if you?re like me, sometimes you just need something more than the usual screwdriver.

Each of these screwdrivers has a thick rubber sleeve that interlocks with teeth to the underlying plastic handle. The rubber gives you a much better grip and makes the handle larger than a standard screwdriver, which I find to be a big advantage when I need to apply heavy pressure.
The screwdrivers are made of better steel, and the ends are high carbon for additional strength. Looking closely you can see the machining is a little tighter in tolerance as well.

Final Thoughts

Overall I find these tools to be worth the additional cost even when you already have plenty run-of-the-mill Craftsman screwdrivers.
